Girls Who Code with Random Hacks of Kindness Junior

Learn to code! Girls Who Code is on a mission to close the gender gap in technology and to change the image of what a programmer looks like and does. Join a sisterhood of supportive peers and role models using computer science to change the world. When you join a Club, you will learn new skills by completing fun and simple online coding tutorials, explore a variety of computer science disciplines, hear from female role models and build community through interactive activities with the rest of your Club. Girls Who Code is a free program and open to all interested girls in grades 4th and up. Join our sisterhood of supportive peers & role models using computer science to change the world!

Learn the valuable skill set of aka “code” – computer programming with this special series of weekly workshops directed on introducing girls to this ever growing technology field. These workshops will be facilitated by Patrice Gans, Founder & Executive Director of Random Hacks of Kindness, Jr.

Please Note: Girls Who Code welcomes into our community and programs anyone who identifies as female regardless of assignment at birth. Our programs also welcome people who identify as non-binary or gender nonconforming and want to be in a female-identified environment.

This year the club will focus on Cyber Security.
